Guest Bio:
Claire Milligan is a problem-solver to her core. Whether she’s helping businesses transform their cloud spending or volunteering as a ski patroller, she’s always seeking best-in-class solutions. After Claire got her BA in Psychology and MA in communications from Stanford, she worked in a variety of businesses from marketing to UX to General Manager of Tallie and SpringAhead. At each job, she gained training and skills that prepared her for her biggest challenge to date: becoming the CEO of startup Aimably.
Most businesses spend more than they need to on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for services that they either don’t understand or don’t need. Claire wanted to help those companies determine what configuration of services they actually require and help them get the most bang for their buck. At Aimably, the goal is to help growing businesses spend smarter and minimize their cloud billing pains. Claire’s ability to distill complex subjects into teachable ideas has made it easier for scaling leaders to leverage cloud cost insights that will help their companies thrive. When she isn’t solving problems for her clients, Claire enjoys spending time with her wife and two kids, doing needlepoint projects, advocating for organizations focused on immigrant’s rights, and hitting the slopes at Alpine Meadows.
